Abstraсt

The article gives a general assessment of the degree of study of the problem based on available research, considers an approach to the development of the structure of the epic, which consists in the implementation of the concept of cyclical works and the consistent logic of their representation. The importance of the lack of processing of authentic texts for science is emphasized, and the significant contribution of the publication to the preservation and further study of the spiritual heritage of the Mordovian people is noted.
