Abstraсt
In connection with the anniversary of the birth of the great Russian poet A. S. Pushkin in 2024, the President of the Russian Federation V. V. Putin issued a Decree in 2021 “On the 225th anniversary of the birth of A. S. Pushkin”. The Government of Russian approved a plan of main activities for the preparation and celebration of the poet’s anniversary. As part of the memorable date, many events and initiatives were planned to be held, including international, All-Russian and regional conferences and forums, exhibition projects, creative contests, concerts, theater and film premieres, quizzes, Olympiads, lectures, master classes. The program paid special attention to the restoration of Pushkin museums. The State Literary Memorial and Natural Museum-Reserve of A. S. Pushkin “Boldino” in the Nizhny Novgorod region occupies a special place among them. We talked to Nina Anatolyevna Zhirkova, director of the Museum-Reserve, about the main museum expositions, innovations and plans for the future.
