Abstraсt

In this article, based on extensive source material and studied concepts, the authors formulated their own vision of volunteerism using the example of pedagogical volunteering by an associate professor of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of National Research Mordovia State University., Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences E. D. Pakhmutova. She is a prominent public figure of the Republic of Mordovia, chairman of the Regional branch of the Interregional public organization “League of Higher School Teachers”, a member of the board of the Mordovian regional public organization “Cultural and Linguistic Diversity of the Territory”, organizer of many career guidance events to popularize multilingualism in the region, participant in numerous socially significant projects . The work provides a detailed overview of the main project, research and teaching achievements of this person, and describes in detail her volunteer activities as a project coordinator, translator, social engineering instructor, student team mentor, and teaching methodology consultant. It is concluded that due to her enthusiasm, active citizenship, desire to realize her potential and share her professional skills, E. D. Pakhmutova makes a significant contribution to the development of pedagogical and scientific volunteerism in the region.
